Nestled on the side of Pakatakan Mountain in the Catskill Mountains of New York State, our recently renovated guest cabin is centrally located in the popular Margaretville area. The area is noted for its quaint towns and abundance of  accessible New York State and New York City Watershed land for recreational use. We are minutes away from the Pepacton Reservoir which has just been opened for non-motorized boating -- kayak, canoe and rowboat.
The guest house  is  situated on nine woodland acres which border New York State Forest Preserve. You can have a great hiking and nature experience right from the guest house property.

The guest house has two bedrooms and one bathroom.  One bedroom features a queen sized bed and the other a full sized bed.  Additionally there is a pull out sofa in the living room with a full sized bed.  There one can enjoy watching the fire in the wood burning fireplace insert as one drifts off to sleep.

A large eat in kitchen contains all the necessities for your cooking and dining pleasure. The guest house also has a large heated entry room which overlooks the deck and is a great place to sit and unwind at anytime of the day.

The grounds feature an old logging road connecting you to miles of state trails across acres and acres of pristine forest. Winter and early spring feature mountain views, summer, a richness of green, and  autumn, an array of colors of the forest in its glory as well as apples from the property's 5 apple trees.

We do our utmost to keep the cabin clean and fresh for each renter, putting much effort in the details like sanitizing all the door knobs, tv remote, phone, bathroom and kitchen areas. We want you to have a pleasant, carefree stay with us. Our customers have been very happy with our property, awarding us a top rental property award on the Flip Key travel site.
